Tyrone Downie was born on 20 May, 1956 in Kingston, Jamaica, is a Jamaican keyboardist and pianist. Keyboardist Tyrone Downie, also known affectionately as Jumpy and Organ D, died on Nov. Downie, who was reportedly ailing, passed away last Saturday at hospital in Jamaica, his partner, Bernadine Simpson, told The Gleaner. Having previously been a member of the Impact All Stars, he attended Kingston College and joined The Wailers in the middle of the 1970s.
